Goldfinch has started executing a new drive to enhance hygiene and sanitization measures at its properties amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The “Clinically Clean & Safe Stay” program is an addition to the existing health and safety measures at Goldfinch. Every Goldfinch property will have a dedicated ‘Guest Hygiene Custodian’ responsible for internal audits based on a series of rigid brand guidelines. All hotels will continue to fully adhere to health and safety measures as per WHO and FSSAI as well as local government guidelines.
As part of the new initiative, all hotels will implement “enhanced levels of hygiene” and use Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved disinfectants throughout public areas, including lobbies, reception, fitness centres, pool areas and guest rooms. Enhanced hygiene measures will include the use of cold fogging technology and electrostatic spray technology, to achieve a higher level of sanitisation and disinfection. Hand sanitizers will be available and a range of specific extra measures such as disinfecting hotel key cards, to ensure guests’ health and safety throughout their stay will be followed.
The guests who book airport transfers will be met by a Goldfinch representative and escorted to their private vehicle, which will be “thoroughly” sanitized after every trip. Guests’ luggage will be stowed in the car by the hotel representative, who will wear a face mask and gloves for safety. Any pending guest details required to facilitate a smooth and speedy check-in will be collected during the transfer, so that upon arrival at the hotel, guests can complete check-in formalities quickly, before arriving at their room.
Goldfinch hotels have decided to move towards digitalization to reduce contact and cross-contamination wherever possible and are exploring new avenues in these spheres.
Presently due to the guidelines of the local government, the hotel is not offering wellness services like Gym, Steam, Spa and swimming pool.
There will also be changes to dining outlets and in-room dining. For all the meals, restaurants will be set up in compliance with social distancing guidelines. After guests are settled at their table, every order of fresh and nutritious food will then be carefully prepared ‘a la minute’ and served by the culinary team happy to accommodate any special requests. Wellness cuisines will include immune booster food and beverages, with specialist wellness Chefs preparing fortifying meals and juices. While ordering from the In-Room Dining facility, the guest shall experience minimum contact with the server as per the new guidelines.
Goldfinch works with state-of-the-art technology and has introduced the latest in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system with increased efficiency and high-performance air filtration enabling guests to breathe in good quality air.
